Trina Becksted

Trina Becksted is the founder of CloudNine Marketing, Inc. She has more than 20 years of experience as a marketing and public relations consultant. As president of CloudNine Marketing, Inc., Trina takes projects from concept to creation. Some of her biggest projects include producing five events for internationally acclaimed author Deepak Chopra, M.D . She organized and managed each of these events, attracting powerful co-sponsors like Canyon Ranch, Ritz Carlton, Mercedes Benz, Nordstrom's, and The Cleveland Clinic Health System.

Trina's clients particularly appreciate her extensive experience in public relations (PR) management. She has handled PR for Columbus-based Smooth Jazz 103.5 & 104.3, promoting the world-class musicians of the Smooth Jazz concert series, Richard Elliot, Marc Antoine, Russ Freeman, and the Rippingtons .

In addition, Trina has a strong traditional business background. Her career has included sales, advertising and marketing management positions in the automotive, publishing and telecommunications industries. It is through those positions that she became savvy at new business development, media planning, negotiating and buying print space and broadcast air time, as well as designing and implementing sales incentive and award programs.

Trina is a believer in giving back to her community. She helped create the popular Cupid's Night Out charity event that has raised thousands of dollars for St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, and the Cleveland Jaycees . She provided pro-bono public relations services for the Northern Ohio chapter of the March of Dimes and co created their MOD Art Auction . She currently serves as a Board Member for The International Yoga College , and Seven Centers Yoga Arts . She is a Community Council Member for Sister to Sister's www.sistertosister.org National Women's Heart Day with Cindy McCain. Trina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace College with a concentration in Marketing Communications. She has held memberships in the Sales and Marketing Executives and Cleveland Advertising Association. Her personal interests include yoga, mediation, tennis, golf, personal growth and bringing holistic medicine and human potential mainstream.

Andrea Ervin-Editor and Publicist

Andrea recently graduated summa cum laude from Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University with a major in journalism. After interning with CloudNine Marketing her senior year, Upon graduation Andrea transitioned to junior editor and publicist. She is also CloudNine’s digital media specialist and maintains the social media accounts and Web sites. She is responsible for editing articles from contributing writers for the Holistic Healing News site, and for writing client press releases and original articles. She also cultivates a talent for positioning news stories for greater media responsiveness. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest has given Andrea an intense love for nature, and she is compelled to do her part in conserving this beautiful planet. She believes in the healing power of nature and organic living, which initially attracted her to CloudNine Marketing. She moved to Arizona for a career in the travel industry, but her passion for writing, learning and experiencing life inspired her to begin a rewarding path in the field of editing, public relations and marketing.

Jyl Lytle-SEO/Digital Media Manager

Jyl attended Mid-Plains Community College in Nebraska, where she was the president of the honor society. She transferred to Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa, where she majored in Public Relations and Marketing with a minor in international business and a specialization in Information Systems. She began her career in Africa, where she worked for Al Ahram Weekly newspaper doing travel writing, lifestyle articles, photography and event reporting.

While in the Middle East, she also did pro-bono work with two charities in order to secure mico-loans for single mothers, and taught search engine optimization. She also worked to develop voluntourism to impoverished areas where tourists from westernized countries would come and volunteer to teach classes to children and adults alike so natives could develop sustainable businesses.

Jyl broadened her career path into digital media writing and publishing in 2008. She has worked to market everything from travel packages to sporting events to healthcare. Being a Nebraska native, Jyl loves fishing, hiking and hunting, adventure and luxury travel, as well as gardening, swimming, diving, reading and photography. She is the single mother of two beautiful daughters, age 11 and 22 months. Jyl’s home is full of light, love, laughter and girl power, not to mention closets full of shoes!

Amanda Davis Jr. Publicist / Account Executive

Amanda is learning digital media and traditional public relations. She was hired by CloudNine to provide assistance to the members of their Holistic Healers Directory.com She possesses excellent communications skills

She’s currently attending Arizona State University to receive a Bachelors of Science Degree in Communication. She is finishing up her senior year and is excited to pursue a career in public relations and marketing upon her graduation.

Amanda is the first generation of her Middle Eastern family to graduate with a college degree and is thrilled to have that honor. She just completed a six month study abroad program in Australia, where she immersed herself in the culture. While in the land down under, Amanda received certification in The Global Leadership program and was honored by invitation to a keynote speech ball. The Global Leadership program included workshops varying topics from war on terrorism to tips on running a successful business. The experience abroad and numerous workshops in The Global Leadership has broadened her outlook on life and taught her more about herself and what she wants out of life.

Jason is a digital media intern at CloudNine Marketing. He is a junior majoring in Marketing at the W. P. Carey School of Business and Barrett, the Honors College. Since he was a child, he has had a passion for the Internet and the many ways of communication it offers people around the world. This passion has brought him to the internship at CloudNine Marketing, where he desires to learn more about the ever-changing world of digital media.
